Switch & STP: Smarter Portfolio Rebalancing (Coming Soon)

Enable investors and distributors to move investments seamlessly across schemes—amount, units, or full switch—plus upcoming STP automation for long-term portfolio management.

Switch and STP journeys give investors powerful ways to rebalance portfolios, shift risk, and optimize long-term returns. MFStack brings these capabilities into a modern, guided digital flow—built for both self-service investors and distributor-assisted transactions (DIT) with consent.
Both features are coming soon, designed on top of Fintech Primitives’ robust transaction engine.

Switch (Coming Soon)

A switch allows investors to move money from one scheme to another within the same fund house. MFStack will support all major switch types:

1. Amount-Based Switch

Investors can transfer a specific amount from their existing scheme to a new one.

2. Unit-Based Switch

Ideal for investors who prefer switching exact units instead of value.

3. Full Switch

Move the entire balance from one scheme to another in a single action.
Switching becomes a clean, intuitive experience with real-time validations, scheme checks, and cutoff logic.

STP — Systematic Transfer Plan (Coming Soon)

STP automates periodic transfers from one scheme to another—commonly used for:
  • Moving from debt → equity gradually
  • Reducing timing risk
  • Creating disciplined investment transitions
MFStack’s upcoming STP engine will support:
  • Frequency selection (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Amount-based transfers
  • Clean mapping of source and target schemes
  • Automated scheduling and status tracking

DIY + Distributor Initiated (DIT)

Both Switch and STP will follow the same dual workflow pattern as other MFStack transactions:

Investor Self-Service (DIY)

  • Investor initiates the switch or STP setup directly from their app
  • Clean UI guides them through scheme selection and inputs
  • Status updates are shown instantly

Distributor-Initiated (DIT)

  • Distributor initiates the order
  • Investor reviews and approves through a consent-driven step
  • Fully compliant and smooth for both parties
This hybrid model gives distributors operational power without compromising investor control.

Why This Matters

  • Better portfolio control with flexible switching
  • Reduced timing risk via STP automation
  • Distributor-friendly with assisted workflows and consent
  • Modern UX that demystifies rebalancing
Switch and STP complete the investor’s transaction toolkit—making MFStack a comprehensive, future-ready mutual fund application stack.
